Fourth Annual “Share Your Heart” Dance
The Upper Delaware GLBT Center (UDGLBT) is proud to announce the fourth annual “Share Your Heart with the Community” Valentine’s Dinner/Dance and Food Drive to be held on Saturday, February 14th. This year attendees can go to dinner only, dinner and the dance, or to the dance only.
Dinner will be at 7PM with the dance following at 8:30pm at the Best Western Inn at Hunt’s Landing, located at 120 Route 6 and 209, Matamoras, PA, 18336.
The event is sponsored by The Inn at Hunt’s Landing and will feature that audacious local celebrity “Sugar” with music provided by DJ Flow and Hot –Traxx Entertainment. All are welcome to attend this exciting community event! Also, please come see “Sugar’s” alter ego, James Campistrous, as he discusses how Sugar was born and more importantly his life journey on Sunday, February 8th, 2:00pm at the UDGLBT’s “Getting to Know Your Neighbors” Speaker Series being held at the center location at 201 W. Harford St., Milford, PA.
You can “Share Your Heart” and enjoy this special evening whether a couple or single. You also take the guess work out of this year’s Valentine’s Day with an evening planned for you. Come and warm your heart with new and old friends. Attendees can attend both the dinner and dance or come just for the dance. Reservations are required for the dinner/dance combination. Tickets are $35.00 per person and include the dance, a choice of one of three entrees, potatoes, vegetable, dessert and one complimentary drink. Dinner service starts promptly at 7pm.
There is a $10.00 entry fee for those attending the dance ONLY (@ 8:30), which includes one complimentary drink. Bar Menu available until 10pm.
Reserve your tickets at Online ticket sales end on February 9th. If paying by check or cash please visit Kris Jarmann at the Wells Fargo Bank, 224 Broad St., Milford, PA. Tickets for dance purchased at the door will be $12.00.
In addition, guests are requested, but not required, to donate non-perishable items such as peanut butter, jelly, canned meats, chicken and tuna as well as diapers, tooth paste and other personal hygiene items.
Net monies collected on this special evening along with the food will be donated to the Ecumenical Food Pantry at the Church of the Good Shepherd and St. John the Evangelist located in Milford, PA.
